The estate sits on a hilltop above Gavi, surrounded by vineyards, with views that stretch across the Ligurian hills. It is a backdrop that does the decorating for you.

A restored farmhouse, a converted barn, two terraces, a panoramic pool area, and landscaped gardens — all connected.
Bring your own caterer or we can recommend trusted local cooks and Gavi winemakers. Full kitchen on site.
The entire estate is yours — no shared facilities, no other guests.
Wine tours in Gavi DOCG country, truffle hunting, rent bikes, go golfing or attend local cooking classes - all can be arranged.
Ai Nebbioli — within walking distance of the estate, ideal for a relaxed dinner.
Locanda di San Cristoforo — the local favourite for pizza, in San Cristoforo village, 10 min drive.

Open lawns with a view over the Gavi vineyards make a natural setting for sunrise yoga, mindfulness sessions, or guided movement classes. We can arrange an instructor, or simply lay the space out for your group to lead their own practice.
The on-site gym is available exclusively to your group throughout your stay — no booking slots, no sharing. Perfect for corporate programmes that want to keep teams energised, or for guests who simply don't want to break their routine.
Weddings
Cascina del Merlo is an idyllic setting for an intimate wedding. Exchange vows in the open air with a sweeping mountain panorama as your backdrop, dine under the stars in the courtyard, and celebrate into the evening with fairy lights, a pergola bar and the warm Piedmont night. Just above the estate on the hilltop sits the Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia — a beautiful 19th-century sanctuary whose bells ring out across the valley every hour. It adds a magical backdrop to any celebration, and its chimes carry beautifully down to the estate. Please note that we have no affiliation with the church and have not arranged ceremonies there; any enquiries about services should be made directly with the sanctuary.
